Green Jobs and a Just Transition

Short rotation plantations of bioenergy crops together with agroforestry borders, co-located renewable energy technologies, related and innovative new value chains, necessary supporting infrastructure, and permanent forest landscape restoration activities will all help create, with scale, thousands of good jobs for displaced, unemployed, or underemployed workers—in support of a just clean energy transition and rural economic growth.
